Hybrid Jamboree and Scored Tournament 

 

(TOURNAMENT IS FULL)

 

 
Date: November 30th 2019
 
Fee: $320.00 per team (FULL)
 
Place: Withington Ice Rink, at Living Memorial Park, Brattleboro, Vermont
 
Tournament: Each team GUARANTEED 4 games, governed by the rules of USA Hockey.
 
 
Time: 8:00am Saturday November 30th: First game begins
          By 11:05am Saturday November 30th: Final game begins
 


Tournament Structure: 

6 Team maximum

4 vs 4 for half ice games

4 Games per team minimum

5 Games for first to fourth place team

 

USA Hockey Rules Apply to ALL games

Each game is 25 mins running time

First 2 games a per team are cross ice and Jamboree Style with no score, on 1/3 of the ice

After the Jamboree styled games we switch to a points style system and score will be kept for for the third and fourth game for each team.

2 Games per team half ice, scored with points to determine championship and consolation games.

2 Championship games half ice: 1 v 2 and 3 v 4 

All points games will have a referee 

  •     Wins earn 2 points
  •     Ties earn 1 point 
  •     Losses earn 0 points

The first and second place teams (i.e. the two teams with the most points) play in a championship game

The third and fourth place team play in the consolation game.

Tie breaking criteria to determine who plays for the championship and consolation game:

  1. Fewest goals against
  2. Goal differential (goals for - goals against)
  3. Coin toss

 

Awards: Team award for winners and individual awards for players. Team Award is presented following the championship game. All individual awards are given to players after their final game.
